Regional Commercial Security Planning Directory

Use this directory to organize research by property location. It is an educational navigation resource; service availability, project scope and site conditions should be confirmed with the provider.
Start with the facility
Record the property address, occupancy, operating hours, entrances and outdoor areas. For multiple sites, distinguish shared standards from the needs of each location. A regional guide helps identify relevant context but does not replace a site assessment.
Regional resources on NERSA
- Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic umbrella
- Pennsylvania coverage
- Northeastern Pennsylvania: Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Pittston, and Hazleton
- Poconos regional hub
- Lehigh Valley: Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton

Prepare consistent information across locations
- Inventory existing systems, equipment age and available documentation.
- Describe staff, visitor, contractor and delivery procedures.
- Identify which events must be detected, reviewed or documented.
- Record network, power and work-schedule constraints.
- Assign responsibility for user permissions and response contacts.
Keep geographic and service questions separate
After selecting a region, review the service topic relevant to the property: video, controlled entry, intrusion detection, fire alarms or monitoring. Confirm equipment compatibility, responsibilities and ongoing costs before comparing proposals.
Use the project brief checklist to prepare questions. The NERSA Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic overview provides the main regional service reference.
